This is a national election year and all national congressional district seats are up for re-election. The state of Virginia has also redrawn its congressional districts. Most of the congressional districts in Virginia have been redrawn and new boundaries have been established. All congressional and state districts in Spotsylvania have been adjusted. We also recommend individuals contacting their registrar’s office for more details.

Repost *VOTING RIGHTS AND DEMOCRACY CONTINUE TO BE UNDER ATTACK! The senate failed to pass the “John Lewis Voters Protection Act” thereby allowing the efforts to limit, restrict and suppress voting from state governments to remain in place. Not only are these efforts by the states limiting citizens right to vote, they are attempting to develop systems that would possibly make one’s vote not count. This would give elected officials the power to disregard your vote and the official would select the person they wanted to represent the state. We must continue to fight against such actions and be vigilant so that Virginia doesn’t adopt similar measures. Fight to save democracy, please contact us at 540-847-7637.
